Cast Glass Bird Hihi/Stitchbird

One of rarest birds in Aotearoa, the Hihi or Stitchbird is a medium sized forest dweller endemic to the North Island. Having become extinct on the mainland in the late 19^th century, the only naturally surviving population is today found on Te Hauturu-o-Toi in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf.

This stunningly crafted cast glass Hihi/Stitchbird is created by the incredible glass studio, Luke Jacomb Studio. It has a screw in the back so it can easily be screwed directly into your wall. Looks beautiful alone or as part of a collection.
